There are lots of great Bible Studies for the fall on Wednesday evenings and Tuesday mornings.  Check out the Amplify line up.  There are two studies just for women, "The 5 Dreams of Every Woman" by Sharon Jaynes facilitated by Rey Cooke and Brigitte Harrison on Wednesday evenings starting August 28 and  "Created For Purpose"  by Tara Furman facilitated by Melody Merritt on Tuesday mornings starting September 17 and going through October 29.  Find a place to dig into God's Word.  That is your daily Bread.

Summer Bible Studies for Women

Hi Ladies,

You have three opportunities to join a Bible Study this summer.  Priscilla Shirer's new study, Gideon: Your Weakness, God's Strength, will be offered Tuesday Mornings and Wednesday Evenings.  Living Your Life as a Beautiful Offering by Angela Thomas will be on Thursday Evenings.  Don't just sit out the summer, get involved in a small group and dig into God's Word, it will transform your life.

Gideon: Your weakness, God's strength

Do you feel overwhelmed, inexperienced, intimidated, insufficient, afraid, invisible, too old, too young?  Gideon’s story involves far more than a wet fleece and a battle won with 300 soldiers.  His epic victory actually tells of one man’s struggle with his own weakness—and the One True God who transformed it into triumph.  So if you’ve struggled with insecurity or had trouble accepting your limitations, this study will help you see how God can use your weakness to unlock His strength.  Join us for this 7 week  Bible study that will open your eyes to a brand new perspective on yourself, your God, and Gideon.

 

Gideon is being offered two different times:

 

   Tuesday Mornings, June 4-July 30

    9:30-11:00am in Room 310

  

   Wednesday Evenings, June 5-July 31

   6:30-8:00pm in Room 310

Living Your Life as a Beautiful Offering

 

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus gives us His instruction for everyday living.  Jesus wants us to learn to live in a way that reflects the kingdom of God to the world, to live as a woman with a kingdom heart, to live your life as a beautiful offering surrendered to Him. In this study Angela Thomas call women to a more passionate life in Christ, to an understanding that our lives - broken, tarnished, ragged, or torn - can still become a beautiful offering.

Why Do You Believe That?  A Faith Conversation Bible Study

How confident do you feel in talking about matters of Faith?  Do you wish you could express your beliefs with more effectiveness?  Join us in a practical 7-session study to gain understanding and skill in sharing Jesus effectively with others and in better understanding your own faith. Answer your doubts.  Build your confidence.  Start changing lives.

We live in a world desperately in need of truth and the Truth.  Many people have given up on knowing truth believing that truth is relative and subjective.    The Bible says in Hosea 4:6 that God's people are "destroyed for lack of knowledge."  Apologists are people who are ready to give a defense to anyone who asks a reason for their hope and to do this with gentleness and respect. As we work through this study your will know more of what you believe and become better able to share those beliefs with anyone who asks.  This is not a work for others.  It is the work of the body of Christ, to bring truth to mankind.  The stakes are high. We live in a world where 4 out of 5 people do not know Jesus Christ.

This study begins Wednesday, 3/6 @ 6:30pm in Room 310.  Come join us and we seek to be better equipped to share the Truth.
