Bible Studies for January 2013

James

Come along with us on a journey to get to know both the man and the Book of James. You will never be the same again.  Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, wisdom, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer.

Come join Linda Cooke and Kathy Dunnavant on Thursday mornings at 9:30-11:15 starting, January 10 and going through March 7, 2013.

We will meet in Room 206 at Apex Baptist Church, 110 S. Salem St, Apex.

One in a Million

Journey to Your Promised Land

One in a Million: Journey to Your Promised Land by Priscilla Shirer.  She encourages participants to fully engage in the abundant life God has waiting for those who will allow Him to lead in their daily living. One in a Million is an opportunity for you to experience your deliverance from strongholds, to conquer your wilderness living, and to claim your God-given inheritance.

Come join Holly Ladner and Michelle Cable on Wednesday evenings, January 9 - February 27, at 6:30 in Room 310.

Unglued

All women experience "unglued feelings" at times, often when they least expect it. These emotions are not wrong, in fact they are God-given. However our emotions should be indicators — not dictators. God gave us emotions to experience life, not destroy it! Each experience is an opportunity to either fall back into patterns that make us wallow in guilt or chose more wisely and make progress.

Come join Miriam Eng on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 in Room 315.
